This document contains tutorial problems on diode applications, including half-wave and full-wave rectifiers. Problem 1 involves calculating the output voltage waveform of a half-wave rectifier. Problem 2 involves determining various voltage and current values for a full-wave bridge rectifier circuit. Problem 3 does similar calculations for a center-tapped transformer full-wave rectifier. Later problems involve sketching output waveforms for different rectifier circuits, determining the peak inverse voltage (PIV) of diodes, and calculating the required filter capacitor value for a given ripple factor.
