LT Current Transformer and now Everest Electric Works promoted to Public Limited
company as AMREST ELECTRICLAS LIMITED under the efficient leadership of the
Honourable CEO Mr. Irshad Ahmad. His rich experience of more than 35 years in the
respective domain has helped the company to flourish at a brisk pace. Now AMREST

LOW VOLTAGE CURRENT TRANSFORMER
AMREST Manufactures Low Voltage Dry type Indoor Current Transformers.
Amrest manufactures in ring , rectangular type & wound primary type L.T. Current
Transformers in resin cast, tape wound & ABS moulding.
The standard value of primary current in L.T CT is 100A to 3000A, the standard value of
secondary current in CT is 1A or 5A.

Voltage Transformer for metering and protection
purpose, also available in both metering and protection
class as well as separate for metering and protection as
per customer requirement.
Amrest Uses hydrophobic cycloaliphatic epoxy resine 1-f OUTDOOR CURRENT TRANSFORMERS
(HCEP), capable of withstanding outdoor
environmental conditions. The hydrophobic surface
properties of HCEP ensure highly reliable performance
in wet or humid environments.
The High Current Transformers are ideally designed
with metering, protection and special protection
purposes.
A current transformer is designed to convert the
primary rated current which flows through the primary
winding. The secondary winding must generally be
short circuited at any time, otherwise dangerous high
voltages can occur at the secondary terminals.

The standard value of primary current in CT is

5A to 3000A and primary voltage in PT is
6.6kV, 11kV & 33kV.
The standard value of secondary current in
CT is 1A or 5A and secondary voltage in PT is 1-f RESIN CAST CURRENT TRANSFORMERS
110v, 230v or 110/ö3.
The standard value of rated burden in CT is 5
VA to 30 VA and rated burden in PT is 10 to
100VA at a power factor of 0.8 lagging.
Accuracy class of Metering CT and PT are 0.1,
0.2, 0.2s, 0.5s, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 0.1, 0.2, 0.5,
1.0 respectively.
CT-PT Metering Cubicle are available in

bottom cable entry or side entry as per
customers requirement. The Cubicle are
divided into two or three parts one for
energy meter , second and third for current 3-f RESIN CAST POTENTIAL TRANSFORMERS
and potential transformer. The Cubicle are
dust proof and pilfer resistant.

Transformer for both metering and protection purpose
as per customer requirement.
The standard value of primary current in CT is 5A to
3200A and primary voltage in PT is 6.6kV, 11kV ,33kV &
66KV.
The standard value of secondary current in CT is 1A or
5A and secondary voltage in PT is 110V, 230V or
110/√3.
The standard value of rated burden in CT is 5 to 30 VA
and rated burden in PT is 10VA to 100VA at a power
factor of 0.8 lagging. 33 KV OUTDOOR CURRENT TRANSFORMERS
Accuracy class of Metering CT and PT are 0.1, 0.2, 0.2S,
0.5S, 0.5, 1.0, 3.0 and 0.1, 0.2, 0.5, 1.0 respectively.

aluminium to maintain load losses, use high
grade CRGO laminations 0.23 to 0.27 to
minimize the no load losses in transformers and
best quality di-electric transformer oil to
enhance the life of transformers.
We are manufactures of Oil Cooled Power and

Distribution Transformers with on load/off load
tap changer as per customer requirement.
Amrest have in-house testing facility for all the

routine tests as per Indian and International
standards.Our all testing Instruments are
calibrated from NABL Laboratories on regular
basis to ensure that instruments are working
will min. errors.
