Modifiers

1. Pre modify the noun:


Adjective (Great/famous/popular/rich/...)
Example: Kazi Nazrul was a popular (pre modify the noun) poet.

2.Present participle:
Verb + ing
Example: After completing (use a present participle) my MBA, I will go abroad.

3.Past Participle:
V3
Example: I need a book which is written (use a past participle) about geography.

4.Article:
a/an/the
Example: There is a (use an article) tree.

5.Intensifier:
Very/fully/enough/...
Example: She worked very (use an intensifier) hard in her early life.

6.Quantifier:
Many/much/several
Example: I have bought many (use an quantifier) books from the fair.

7.Possesive:
Our/your/his/her
Example: In our (use a possesive) country people always tend to break the law.

8.Infinitive:
To + Verb
Example: Some proper steps should be taken to prevent (use an infinitive) corruption.

9.Post modify the verb:


Adverb (Slowly/quickly/...)
Example: You have to study properly (post modiy the verb) to get a good grade.

10.Demonastrative:
Some/this/that
Example: He has some (use a demonastrative) quality from childhood.

11.Appositive:
Noun + noun
Example: He is the CEO of a big life insurance (use an appositive)

12.Noun adjective:
Adjective + Noun + Noun
Example: Neymar is a skilled football player (use a noun adjective)
