including shoring, dewatering if necessary, dressing the
sides of foundation, ramming the bottom of foundation,
refilling the sides of foundation, plinth, etc. with available
excavated earth in layers of not exceeding 500 mm in Cu.M 1,000
depth, each layer well rammed and consolidated disposal of
surplus excavated material within a lead of 200 m complete
as per specifications and as directed by the Engineer-in-
charge upto 1.5m from EGL.

5 PCC and brickwork

5.1 Providing and laying in position cement concrete of M-


15 grade (1:2:4, 1 cement, 2 crush sand, 4 graded stone
aggregate of maximum size 20 mm) including
consolidation, finishing curing, dewatering of surrounding Cu.M 850
water etc. complete as per specifications and drawings but
excluding the cost of Form work shuttering, centering and
steel reinforcement at all levels.

5.2 Providing and constructing brick work in cement


mortar (1 brick thick) using standard brick of approved
quality /class, make brand in superstructure above plinth
upto floor 2 level in all shapes and sizes including curing, Cu.M 115
rackingof joints complete as per specification and as
directed by EIC. brickworks in superstructre with standard
bricks in C.M. 1:4 using crushed Sand

6 Reinforced Cement concrete (RCC) of grade M-35

6.1 Providing and laying in position Reinforced Cement


concrete (RCC) of grade M-35 (Temperature during
placing shall not be more than 29 deg. celcius) using
20mm maximum size aggregates and crushed sand of
approved quality including Admixturesof approved Brand
and quality (Plasticiser or super plasticiser) if required,
including dewatering of surrounding water, weigh batching,
Mechanical mixing, transporting , placing, vibrating,
consolidation, finishing, curing, etc. complete but excluding

7 Providing Reinforcement steel for reinforced cement

7.1 Using TMT Bars of Specified Grades of all sizes. TMT bars

8 Providing , centering ,shuttering Form work using PVC


Film faced plywood to get a neat form finish surface for
all types of structures including necessary strutting, proping,
staging, supports etc and deshuttering the same after the
specified time all as per drawings and specifications and as
directed by the Engineer-in-charge at all levels.

8.3 Left -in shuttering: design, supply, place formwork for left-
in shuttering, using metal deck sheets as formwork inclusive
of all materials, labour, studs, fastners, tools and plants, two
coats of approved primer or bottom surface, retrievable
supporting materials etc. complete as per specification,
drawings and as directed by the Engineer. The non- Sqm 6
retrievable structural steel required to be provided for
supporting the left-in shutter shall be measured and paid in
relevant structural steel item.

Flooring

9 Supplying, Stacking and Laying of 230 mm Thick


Soling stones under Floor base including packing with
smaller stone and compacting with Hand roller / Floor

1:4 (using Crushed sand) and jointing with grey cement
slurry including grouting with the joints with white cement
based Tile grout of approved make and matching shade
complete as per patterns, drawings and specifications
complete as directed by the Engineer in charge.

10.1 Using Tiles of size 600 X 600 mm

cement mortar 1:4 (using 100% manufactured sand) and Sq.M 750
jointing with grey cement slurry @ 3.3 kg / sq.m including

Engineer-in-charge.

13 Providing and fixing anodized aluminium work


(minimum anodizing thickness of 15 micron) for doors,
windows, Louvers / ventilators and partitions with
extruded built up standard tubular sections / Z sections and
other sections of approved make conforming to IS 733 and
IS 1285 fixed with rawl plugs and screws or with fixing clips
or with expansion hold fastners including necessary filling
up of gaps at junctions, at top, bottom and sides with
required PVC / neoprene gasket etc. Aluminium sections
shall be smooth, rust free, straight, mitred and jointed
mechanically wherever required including cleat angle, Kg. 675
aluminium snap beading for glazing /panelling, CP brass /
stainless screws all complete as per drawings and direction
of Engineer-in-charge including providing and fixing hinges /
pivots and making provision for fixing of fittings wherever
required including the cost of PVC / neoprene gasket
required filling the gaps using silicon grout sealant etc.
(fittings glazing and panelling if any, shall be paid for
separately)

Waterproofing

14 Providing cement based water proofing treatment to the


new terraces, chajjas, cleaning the concrete surfaces,
giving injections to the top slab as required with cement and
approved waterproofing compound solution to fill up all
inherent holes, voids, honeycombs etc. in the concrete slab,
setting brickbat coba in waterproof mortar with necessary
gradient for easy flow of water and continue the treatment
along the inner faces of parapet or other adhoining wall up
to a height of 300 mm in thew shap of vattas, with
waterproof plaster finished smooth with trovel in cement /
geru with false marking of 300 mm squares complete as
directed by the Engineer-in-chage.
Note:
The quoted rate shall include maintaining effectiveness of
water proofing system and roof insulation supplied for up to
defect liability period from the date of acceptance of these
systems by NPCIL.

14.1 With average thickness of 120 mm and minimum thickness


at khurra as 65 mm using crushed sand/river sand.

15 Establishing leak tightness by water fill test by carrying


out test as per IS: 3370 (Part-1) for the reservoirs/
sumps/tanks of the following liquid retaining structures as
per approved drawing, specifications and as directed by the
Engineer. Payment will be made only after successful
completion of test and acceptance to NPCIL.
Note: Lumpsum 1
Necessary repair works for defective concrete and re-test,
as required, shall be carried out by the contractor at his
own cost using the approved method, materials and
technical specifications, till the acceptance criterion as per
AERB/SS/CSE-1 standard is met.

18 Providing, painting, finishing walls with two coats of anti-
algae, weather proof acrylic smooth emulsion paint of
approved make with silicon additives on sand face
plaster/plain plaster & concrete surfaces of required shade
over new work over a base coat of exterior cement primer Sq.M 3,600
including preparation of the surfaces, scaffolding complete.

19 Prepatation of CONCRETE surfaces at all elevations to


receive the paint (interior/exterior/floor) including carrying
out minor rapairs, curing inclusive of all material, labours,
scaffolding, stagging, consumables, tools and tackles, etc.
complete as per specifications and as directed by Engineer.
it shall include, cutting the tie rods upto cover zone, filling all
form tie holes, localized air holes, repair of gradual
irregularities, removal of ridges and fins and abrupt

Internal,external water supply and sanitary system

20 Providing, laying, jointing, fixing and testing heavy


quality (ISI Marked C-class) Galvanised iron pipes and
ISI marked fittings like. Tees, elbows bends, unions,
nipples, reducers etc. as required for the work, including
testing the pipes and fittings for 10.00 kg/sq. Cm hydralic
pressure with a minimum period of two hours duration with
clean water, including cutting, threading, jointing with hemp
yarn, white lead, jointing teflon tape, chasing walls and
making good by filling with concrete 1:3:6, complete all as

26 Providing and fixing white vitreous china flat back


single half stall urinal size 580 mm x 380 mm x 350 mm
/610 mm Aquaseal model of approved make with approved
make 32 mm C.P. brass prestomatic flush valve with
standard flush pipe and C.P. brass spreaders, 32 mm urinal
waste coupling with dome grating and clamp etc. including Each 9
making G.I. water line connection complete as directed by
the Engineer-in-charge (Only G.I. pipes will be paid under

Note: For fixing flush valve 32 mm GI. water line provision to

26.1 Providing and fixing 18 mm thick white Agaria Marble


stone slab table rubbed, edges rounded and polished of
size 750 X 500 mm and 18 mm thick fixed in urinal
partitions by cutting a chase of appropriate width with chase
cutter and embedding the stone in the chase with epoxy Nos 9
grout or with cement concrete 1:2:4 (using 6mm nominal
size aggregate) as per direction of Engineer in charge and

1.3 Supply and Execution of Exothermic welding for X-Joint Nos 162
suitable for 95 Sq.mm stranded copper conductor

2 Supply and installation of earth pit comprising of 16mm dia Nos 10


3000 mm long Copper grounding electrode burried
minimum 3000mm deep into the earth with suitable parallel
groove clamps to connect 95 sq. mm copper stranded
conductor & carrying out civil jobs like construction of earth
pit chamber using bricks, cement & concrete earth pit
chamber cover.

3 Supply and installation of 65.09 sqmm. stranded Copper RM 1,000


ground conductor embedded in concrete (min. 100 mm
below surface).

3.1 Supply and Execution of brazing suitable to terminate 65.09 Nos 20


Sq.mm stranded copper conductor from embedded
concrete to grid (Refer attached drawing for details of earth
pads & brazing)

4 Supply, fabrication and installation of wall / floor / neutral


pads of the following sizes.

4.1 Supply and installation of cast copper alloy 70mmX70mm, 4 Nos 126
mm thick wall / floor / column pads (with 4 tapped holes for
10mm bolts along with the bolts) flushing its face fully with
wall / floor surface. (Refer for details of earth pads &
brazing at Section VI)

4.2 Supply and Execution of brazing to connect 65.09 Sq.mm Nos 126
stranded copper conductor with cast copper alloy
70mmX70mm, 4 mm thick wall / floor / column pads (Refer
for details of earth pads & brazing at Section VI)

4.3 Supply and Execution of brazing to connect 65.09 Sq.mm Nos 126
stranded copper conductor (from earth pad) with running
65.09 sqmm. Copper conductor in the embeded concrete
(Refer for details of earth pads & brazing at Section VI)

Lightning Protection System:

5.0 Supply, installation & testing of lightning protection system


for various plant buildings as per drawings, specifications
and installation notes.

5.1 Supply & installation of GS strip conductor 35 mm x 6 mm) RM 650


on columns, walls and roof slab including down comers &
connection to test link complete with all hardwares &
accessories including welding at suitable points to ensure
continuity of GS strips.

5.7 Supply & installation of concrete pedestral on roof top of Nos 100
dimensions 250mm X 250mm X 200mm for support &
installation of GS strip conductor (35 mm x 6 mm).
