Notice: Services Selection Board

The Jammu and Kashmir Services Selection Board announced the results of a written exam for 121 job posts. Candidates who passed the exam according to the 1:5 ratio criteria are being called for interviews, as listed in Annexure A. Candidates who did not pass can check their scores on the Board's website in Annexure B. Candidates have 15 days to request clarification from the Board's divisional offices about the results. Final merit positions will be announced after interviews are complete.

Whereas the written examination (objective type) for these posts was held in the
month of June, 2016 and the Answer Key was uploaded on the official website on the same day
for information of general public/aspiring candidates.

Whereas, representations received from the candidates in respect of
question(s)/Answer options were referred to the Experts in line and their opinion has been
considered.
Now, therefore in view of the position enumerated herein above, the list of
candidates shortlisted to be called for interview/viva-voce on the basis of their score in the
Objective type written examination& as per the admissibility of 1:5 ratio/criteria for the item
Nos/notifications indicated against each, is hereby notified as per Annexure “A” for
information of candidates. However, the mere admission for calling a candidate for the
interview is purely provisional& does not confer any right for him/her for being selected.
Further, the list of non-shortlisted candidates along with their score secured in
the objective typewritten examination is available on the official website www.jkssb.nic.in as
Annexure “B” for information of concerned candidates.
The candidates are free to approach to the Board for any sort of
query/clarification(if any) for which they shall represent before the Divisional Offices of JK
Services Selection Board located at Paray Pora Srinagar/Paloura Jammu within “15” days
from the date of issuance of instant notification, no claim whatsoever, shall be entertained
thereafter.
Further, the merit position of the shortlisted candidates will be displayed after
completion of the Selection process .Moreover, copies of other related information will be
provided to the candidates on demand basis within the provisions of RTI Act, after completion
of selection process.
