CALL TO PRAYER
We cannot come before God unless we are first honest with ourselves about who we are,
about the mistakes we make, and about how well or poorly we care for others.
In this spirit of reflection, let us offer our prayers to God.
CONGREGATIONAL PRAYER
Holy God, we give you thanks and praise for the beauty of this day and for all the
promise it offers. We thank you for life, for joy, and for every opportunity to walk
with you as children of the light. Yet we admit we have strayed from your way,
in thought, word, and deed. As we remember the lavish gift of your grace symbolized
in baptism, O God, we praise you and give thanks that you forgive us yet again. Grant
us now, we pray, the grace to die daily to sin, and to rise daily to new life in Christ,
who lives and reigns with you, and in whose strong name we pray. Amen.
PASTORAL PRAYER

MINISTRY SPOTLIGHT
This week we are lifting up the Prayer Shawl team in the CARES ministry. We have a fantastic group
who use their gifts by knitting or crocheting prayer shawls, which are prayed over before being
delivered to those that are going through illness or grief. These shawls serve as a reminder of God’s
comforting presence and is a blessing to everyone involved. Thank you for your support that allows
this ministry to continue.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
We are so glad that you have chosen to be with us this morning. We are mindful during this pandemic
just how special worshipping together is. In our effort to keep everyone as safe as possible, we are
asking that everyone adhere to the following directives while in the sanctuary.
1. Masks must be worn over your nose and mouth at all times.
2. Everyone is encouraged to partipate fully in the worship service, including the singing of the
hymns and responses, and the spoken liturgy. Masks must be on.
3. Please refrain from physical contact with others, outside of your family groups. No
handshaking, embracing, or touching.
4. Please remain seated during the postlude, and an usher will indicate when your row may
depart. You will leave via the window aisles, and exit through the north vestibule doorways.
5. We ask that you take everything with you when you leave.
