THE SECOND CONDITIONAL EXAMPLES
We use the second conditional to talk about unreal or "If I studied harder, I would get better results"
hypothetical situations that are unlikely to happen. "If it stopped raining, I would go for a walk"
The subordinate clause (If-clause) has the verb in the past simple. "If we won the lottery, we would buy a new car"
The main clause has the verb in the conditional form - would +
infinitive

Goal: The students will identify and recognize the Second Conditional.

1- Using the words in parentheses, complete the text below with the appropriate
