so she uses price discrimination to increase revenue. She trusts her employees
therefore uses democratic leadership style.

Democratic leadership is a style which promotes the active participation of


working in decision making. Even though, the leader has the final say, the reasons
and discussions behind the decision made is thoroughly explained ton the
subordinate staff. Viewing the current situation in which the sales for miss jane
football ground are not constant, I think democratic style will indeed be the most
effective way for her to manage her employees as her organization will
immensely benefit from the staff input. This is discussed in the proceeding
paragraphs.
Democratic style is a two way communication approach where the participation
of employees is encouraged by the leader. It will derive new ideas, effective
thoughts and opinions from the workforce on how to put the discrimination price
strategy into effect to increase the sales revenue for miss jane. The workers will
will free to exchange their viewpoints which can result in some valuable and
creative ideas to be shared by the employees. The organization can use these to
make effective strategies to successfully execute the price discrimination strategy.
All in all, taking into consideration the different perspectives of the different
employees will help miss jane to achieve the best possible outcome in terms of
sales revenue. Also the feedback of the workers throughout will pay a key role in
determining the effectiveness of the strategies adopted by the organization and if
changes or improvements need to be made to it from them to be even more
effective. This will also help the organization determine when a change or new
strategies are required. Also since the contribution of employees is encouraged,
this will also allow market research to be carried out more effectively. Each
employee will try to get as much appropriate information as possible for the
organization as their participation will be acknowledged by their leader i.e Miss
janes. This will also allow employees to make evaluations based on the market
research done which again will allow the market research to be put to best
possible use. For example an employee find out which season has the greatest
demand for the football matches and evaluate that relatively prices should be
charged for customers of this season compared to the other seasons to maximize
sales revenue.
Another major advantage for miss jane in adopting a democratic style of
leadership will be the increase in morale and motivation of the workers. The
workers will feel their thoughts are being taken into consideration as well as
being involved in decision making. This will get them highly motivated to to make
extra efforts to help the organization achieve its desired number of sales. This will
also improve their efficiency in work, reducing the costs of production and
therefore increasing the overall production for miss jane’s organization. Increased
morale levels will also encourage them to adopt a new way thinking and give
fresh ideas on how the price discrimination strategy can be used to maximize the
sales revenue. Also he democratic style adopted, will help build a close relations
between the employees which will allow them to work more effectively as a
team. This will develop coordination between the different members of the
workforce and prevent duplication of efforts. As a result, it will allow the
discrimination pricing strategy to be executed smoothly without any unnecessary
interruption reducing its effectiveness.
Similarly to increased motivation levels, the job satisfaction of the employees will
also increase. This will increase their commitment will work and they will even be
willing to work extra hours to devise the most effective strategies to use price
discrimination in the most effective way. This can include the determination of
different segments the business should focus on and can successfully capture as
well as the determination of the value of prices charged. Also if miss jane’s
organization faces a problem, it will be more efficiently solved if democratic
leadership style is adopted. As there will be more people working on the problem,
it is likely that a solution will be found more quickly. Also the feedback of
employees will also help to determine the strengths and limitations of the
solution which will help to determine the most effective solution for the problem.
Democratic leadership style will also develop the loyalty of employees towards
miss jane and strengthen the relationship between the two. This will extremely
beneficial for miss jane’s organization. Since miss jane has adopted the price
discrimination strategy to increase sales revenue, improved employee loyalty will
enable them to make more efforts to help miss jane achieve her objectives.
So therefore, price democratic leadership style will help the exchange of most
effective thoughts and ideas to execute the discrimination price strategy in the
best possible manner which will help to capture a wide range of segments in the
society. However, the workers not being closely supervised can lead to workers
underperforming and becoming casual in their approach which lead to them
becoming inefficient in their approach. This can negatively impact the sales
revenue of miss jane’s organization.
