Answer:

● The idea of consent that is the desire, approval and participation of


people.
● It is the decision of people that creates a democratic government and
decides about its functioning.
● The basics in this kind of democracy is that the individual or the citizen
is the most important person and that in principle the government as
well as other public institutions need to have the trust of citizens.

5. When was Indian Parliament created? What does it stand for?


Answer:

● The Indian Parliament was created after 1947.


● It stands for the expression of faith the people of India have on the principle
of Democracy.

6. What is the Constitutional Provision with regard to the representation


of Anglo Indian Community in Lok Sabha?
Answer:

The President can appoint two members of the Anglo Indian Community if he is of
the opinion that this community is not adequately represented in the Lok Sabha.
