1. Introduction

1.1 Purpose

The software is designed to manage the sales operation for one of the esteemed
food and beverages company known as "Standard Food and Beverages". The
company wants to divide the sales location in 4 parts by their distributors which
they will be responsible for the in time sales delivery.

1.2 Scope

The scope of the software to manage all the operations through the distributors. The
distributor will be responsible the run the sales operation through his own sales
team. The distributor will be responsible to produce the maximum assets that are
required by the sales team like, ware house, sales persons, vans, drivers etc…

2. Description

2.1 System Environment

The system is completely desktop application. However the daily sales and
monthly progress will be available on Company's own web site to only
authenticated and privileged users. Cross distributor information is not visible to
the sales team of each distribution. However each distributor can share his sales
targets in monthly progress reports.

A local Lan access is essential to access the software over the network.

2.2 Functional Requirement Definition

Functional Requirements are those that refer to the functionality of the system, i.e.,
what services it will provide to the user. Nonfunctional (supplementary)
requirements pertain to other information needed to produce the correct system and
are detailed separately
