Fundamentals of Political Science
Course Competencies:
After completing the course, the students are expected to manifest the following competencies:
I. INFORMATION LITERACY
Explain, and critique the concepts, theories, approaches, and subfields of
Political Science
Differentiate, and appraise the relevance, contribution, and utility of the
different theoretical approaches and methodologies used in the study of
Politics
explain the structural context within which politics takes place, including the
role of the economy, society, and culture, and conflicts over and within those
domains
V. CHRISTIAN CHARACTER
Practice the following values: faith in God, appreciating the history of the
Philippines, fairness in judgment, will power, and positive attitudes toward
negative experiences.
Show Christian core values most especially the love for God, forgiveness of
sins, unconditional love, and renunciation of violence while dealing with the
different facets of the teaching and learning process
