 Marks will be deducted on: (i) plagiarised material (ii) using word spinners
 Marks will be deducted on late submission

Question No. 1
Differentiate open ended and close ended interview questions with illustration. What type of
questions give the interviewer an edge of controlling the interview? Which amongst the two
is better to get more insights about an interviewee? (5 Marks)

Question No. 2
(a) Do you think that attitude test and aptitude tests bear same results in a selection test, yes
or no? Argue.
(b) How does the intelligence test analyse the brilliance of a candidate?
Solve the problem: Salman and Kamran are two brothers. Kamran is aged 16 and
studying in 10th Grade. Salman who is two years younger to Kamran can easily solve all the
questions and understand the curriculum of 10th Grade. What is IQ level of Salman?

Question No. 3
Why two employees in a same organisation are paid different ways, one is paid on
weekly/daily wage and other on a monthly salary, explain? What is incentive based
compensation? Can an employee receive incentive based compensation additionally/along
with a wage base or salary base compensation simultaneously? (5 Marks)

Question No. 4
Does employee development and employee training play a significant role in capacity
building of an employee, if yes how? Also explain through example if there is any difference
between the two. (5 Marks)

Question No. 5
What are components of job analysis, explain in detail? Prepare TDR’s and KSAO’s for a
software engineer in a software house. (10 Marks)
