Syllabus Tutoring Session June 2019

Purpose: to understand and apply the foundation of technical analysis with incorporation of fundamentals
logistics. By the end of this tutoring session, the member should be able to learn how to analyze charts,
understand the fundamental of a stock company, and calculate target price. The focus of Technical
analysis is to ensure member know how to collectively draw support and resistance line and understand
when to take a position in the stock options and when to exit a trade. As for the Fundamental skill, the
members will be able to understand the meaning of a company cash flow, debt, current ratio, beta, net
revenue and etc. In general trading, many analyst will either choose either Fundamental or Technical
Analysis (TA); however, this tutoring session will be focused on how to apply both. Knowing both TA and
Fundamentals will make one a full rounded and skillful trader.

After the 6 tutoring sessions, members will be able to do all stock trading and analysis on the
mobile phone. No need laptop.

Each session will Start Promptly on every Saturday from June 8 to July 13 at 7 pm to 8:20 pm
Pacific Time Zone (10pm to 11:20 pm Eastern Time)
Session 1 to 5: focus on Technical Analysis Charting
Session 6: focus on Fundamental Analysis

● General guideline of tutoring session in Pacific Time Zone:

○ 7 pm - 7:40 pm: Hannah will be going over conceptual lecture of the topic with everyone
on mute on the the livestream

○ 7:40 pm - 8:10 pm: This time will be for practical analysis to look at real life stock charts
and have interactive learning with me by asking questions. Then, I will test your
understanding by asking you all questions. Members can use discord voice channel to
talk to me. Each time you talk press the voice button. Once done talking release the
button.

○ 8:10 pm - 8:20 pm: This is for general questions, feedback for future session, and
announcement for next tutoring session.

Rule
● Technical Analysis General Trading ● General understanding of how to use
rules and chart structuring candles pattern to detect direction of a
stock
● Conduct and draw proper resistance and
support line. Know how to utilize it to
draw Horizontal Channel and Vertical
Channel formation.
● Understand the importance of Options
Greek Terminology:
○ Delta: In the Money (ITM), Out
the Money (OTM), At the Money
(ATM)
○ Implied Volatility: for good entry
○ Volatility Crash: typically happen
after a company's earning call
report

Tutoring Sessions 2 June 15, 2019 ● Account Risk Management

● SMA, VWap, MACD & RSI, Displaced
● Understand how to utilizing technical EMA, Moving average Exponential,
indicators Projection Bands on Thinkorswim or any
other platform you may have.
● Understand the meaning of Simple
moving average: SMA 20, 50, 100 &
● Know the terms upper VWap, Middle
VWap & bottom VWap & how to use this
indicator for Day Trading
● Utilize MACD to see the direction
movement of a stock
● Define Terminology Oversold and
Overbought. Use RSI to determine the
demand for the stock and potential
direction of the stock movement (up or
down)

Tutoring Sessions 5 July 6, 2019 ● This session will be all interactive and
practical learning
● Real life application & Analysis of all ● Overviewing briefly on Spread Options
 concepts learned prior ● Combining all knowledge together to start
tackle the stock. Quiz and practice.
● This session I will choose a stock, and will
quiz you all to see if you understand the
course materials. I will ask questions to
ensure that you all can start draw on the
charts and recognize what pattern is being
illustrated.
● This will complete our session on
Technical analysis. Next week, we will
tackle Fundamental Analysis of a stock
