Day 1
First day of work immersion, they deployed us in LGU-Liloan we gathered at exactly 6 am in the
morning. We started the flag ceremony with the LGU staffs especially the Municipal Mayor Hon. Shirlita
Y. Chong, after that we travelled upstairs to properly meet the mayor. They interviewed us and
discussed the proper work ethics and etiquettes to follow while working with them. I was assigned to
MSWD office with the head Mrs. Glendora but she reassigned me to KALAHI office. I learned a lot with
them and I was happy yet also nervous for my first day.

Day 2
It was Tuesday second day of working immersion. I arrived early as I can then fill in the log book I
encountered some of my peers we greeted each other talking about our experienced working at the
LGU departments. After that I finally went to KALAHI office greeted sir Junel a good morning then finally
met Daryll my subordinate in training we introduced with each other. The facilitator Mrs. Sulindez gave
us something to do with arranging Poblacion and Himayangan documents. When 12:00 o'clock arrived
we stop arranging then take a break for lunch. At last exactly 3pm we already finished our task and
that's the end of my 2nd day of work immersion.

Day 3
The morning began so well as long as the weather. Taking up my working routine, I prepared to go on
the LGU early to continue my working immersion. It was fun then I go to the department where they
assigned me. I greeted sir Junel and ma’am Sulindez a good morning and then continue again the new
task they gave us about checks and cash disbursements of given barangays. Two is better than one they
say so by the help of Daryll we finished it so early then take a lunch break. It was very interesting to
experience true to life work events, where you can socialized with others.

Day 4
It was Thursday 4th day of my immersion. Mr. Josephy decided to include me in an open field work,
visiting barangay for a project meeting in Cagbungalon. They discussed about the water system of the
said barangay. As an intern sir Junel said that I took the pictures as a documentary. They monitored the
projects condition, effectiveness and if there is a damage on it. Immediately when 5:00 pm arrived it is
the time where we went home.

Day 5
Last day of the week, 5th day of training. Ma’am Glendora ask a favour to help them assist the program
about Social Pension for Indigent Senior Citizen’s. It is the pay-out day held on old gymnasium. A large
numbers of members are there to get their social pension. It was fun that day to think that even you are
only a student I already engage with social works there was a goodwill inside of me. It was nice to feel
that you are the one who was helping them. In fact that you are an ordinary student. It was fun that day
though very exhausting but yet also enjoyable.
Reflection
“Work while you work and play while you play”. Work is not easy like
playing your favorite games, it is just like playing a jigsaw puzzle with one piece
missing. You need to focus what you are doing yet accept all the task they given
you. The big question is what impact does work gives? As a student how does
work immersion help you?
Every one of us have a goal in life and one of it was having a nice job. As a
student it is good to see that education gives advanced learning to every learners.
By having the work immersion as a subject in Senior High school. It is the first
step encountering true work experience. In my experience there are a lot of things I
have learned while I’m in training, one of this was you must boost your confidence
and meet all the task and consequences that may give to you by the superiors. Be
responsible do not prevail idleness plus just be what you are. In addition to that
sometimes you committed mistakes but don’t be afraid of it, yet use it as your
motivation to correct what you have wrongly done because there will be always
your mentor to help you. The result of your every undertaking will reflects who
you are and what you are. Ignore all the struggles that you may encountered and
yet use them to inspire you to keep working.
Not every time you re the best, all of us commit mistakes, like in working
there are a lot of burdens you will run across your path but what is the true
meaning of success if there is an absence of trials. Life is like a riding bicycle
before you learned to ride it you are badly savor pain from falling over and over
again.
