Course: Math 11: Calculus 1


Course Credit: 3 units (3 hrs lec)
Course Objective:
1. Have a review of Algebra, Trigonometry, Analytic Geometry and Solid Mensuration;
2. Have a working knowledge of the basic concepts of functions and limits;
3. Differentiate algebraic and transcendental functions with ease;
4. Apply the concept of differentiation in solving word problems involving optimization, related rates, and approximation; and
5. Analyze and trace transcendental curves.
*The lecture intends to introduce concepts enumerated and prepare students to solve engineering problems.

3. Cheating is absolutely not allowed. Anyone
