Answer 1 -
Yes , managers should monitor employees email and internet usage
Because most of the time employees spend their time idly in their workplace .spends valuable time on
web surfing which doesn’t benefit the company in any way . and if they do any inappropriate or illegal .
the company will be tied to it . So to keep the company harms way management need to monitor
employee email and internet usage.

An effective email and web use policy should include clear guide line what action is permitted
and what is not, such as racist and sexually explicit has to be banned. For example, clear
information is to leave no room for interpretation, a company's Internet use policy should convey
the rules clearly and explicitly.

Answer 2 -
Yes, managers should inform employees that their web behavior is being monitored .
Because if the know about them being monitored they will be on their best behavior .
They wont spend much time on the internet and waste valuable company time and resources.
