Analog Electronics: (Syllabus Analysis)

The new analog electronics syllabus makes several changes compared to the old syllabus. It removes diode small signal equivalent circuits and sections on bias stability, multistage amplifiers, feedback amplifiers, and power amplifiers. It adds sections on op-amp summers, differentiators, and integrators as well as using op-amps for Schmitt triggers and active filters. Frequency response analysis is moved to be part of the single-stage amplifier section.
