WHAT’S IN?
In visualizing and representing numbers, it is needed that you
can count the fingers of your hand. Let us first review.
Let us sing: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 I caught a fish alive
6, 7, 8, 9, 10 It got away again.
Remember that to visualize and represent whole numbers, you
must follow these simple steps: (with the guidance of parents)
1. Let the pupils count the object presented.
2. The pupil to trace the symbol of the number
SELF-CHECK: Trace the numbers and write
each number in the piece of paper five times .
1. Note : Use black so that it will be clear if it will
be reproduced
WHAT’S NEW?
Let us learn visualizing and representing numbers by
doing the worksheet. We usually use materials or things
around us to represent a number.
Trace the numbers legibly with the help of your parent
or guardian.
WHAT’S IN IT?
Whole Numbers are simply the numbers 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...
(and so on), there are no fractions and no positive and negative
numbers.
In the lesson, visualize and represent numbers 0-10 using
variety of materials. Counters and real objects are used to facilitate
the learning of the pupils.
Here are some steps:
1. Guide the child to accomplish the worksheet.
2. Visualize and represent by tracing the number that
corresponds to the number of pictures or objects
presented
Worksheet No. 1: Look at the picture and trace the symbol it
represents
Worksheet No. 2 : Count the dot/s and write the numbers 1 to
10 on the line
Worksheet No. 3.

Worksheet No. 4: Trace the number below
WHAT’S MORE?
Follow instruction written below.

GENERALIZATION
WHAT I HAVE LEARNED
Let us now measure what you have learned on this module.
Complete the following statements by writing the
appropriate words or amounts in the blanks.
1. Whole numbers are numbers from ____ to any number.
2. Write the symbol of number of objects presented.
3. Numbers can be written by its ___________.
4. Traced the symbol of numbers from ___ to ______.
WHAT I CAN DO
Trace the symbol of numbers correctly
- 13 -
POST ASSESSMENT
I will apply what I have learned. I will trace the
symbol of the numbers in each worksheet.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
1. Encircle the correct number representing the
picture presented, follow the example .
2. Trace the numbers in the first column. Copy the
numerals in the next columns.
