Creating Assignment

This document provides a lesson plan template for a 6th grade English class where students will use the Make Beliefs Comix website to create a comic strip presenting two facts and one opinion. The lesson will start with a review of previous materials and an introduction to distinguishing between facts and opinions. Students will then work in groups to find two facts and one opinion from their online textbooks, which they will use to create an original comic strip presenting this information in a humorous way within 20 minutes. The template identifies Make Beliefs Comix as a free web-based tool that students can use to construct their comic strips online or through its mobile app version.
