1. GENERAL

The commissioning objective is to ensure that the facilities will operated safely and meet
the performance within the project schedule, and in accordance with the applicable
codes, the latest applicable revision of design, drawings and specifications. Operability
and safety reviews have been implemented during the design.

2. REFERENCE
All work shall be in accordance with contract document and Appendix A - “Project
Spesification”.

3. SAFETY PREPARATION
Safety requirement for this procedure will be covered by the permit to work and the
JSA specifically written for Testing and Commissioning.

4. PREPARATION
 Individual test certificate already done.
 Initial start-up the operating personnel has to read carefully the instructions
for prevention of accidents is described on JSA document.
 Assesment for feasibility equipment for running test
 Initial start-up may only be done by personnel and team.
 Explaination step of initial start up and during start up.
 Well understand mechanism of overall project.

5. PRE-COMMISSIONING
All components shall be inspected to verify that they have been fabricated /
manufactured, supplied, installed, aligned and lubricated in accordance with:
 contract drawings and documentation;
 Standards and Codes specified in this Standard;
 Statutory Regulations;
 Manufacturer’s requirements.
Tests and calibrations shall be carried out to prove that all systems are operational,
including protective and measuring devices.
Testing and commissioning of all belt conveyor electrical and instrument equipment
shall be carried out in accordance with Engineering Standard Testing and
Commissioning.

6. BEFORE INITIAL START UP

Before switched “ON” make sure the several to be attented e.g ;


 Ensure that all inspections of mechanical and electrical equipment / instruments
already done.
 Ensure the construction handover documents or mechanical completion is
accepted/signed.
 Prepare a reference document in the form of a practical guide and Operational
Equipment.
 Handling Problems (Trouble Shooting) related.
 Ensure that no other activity (installation activity).
 Ensure all around of mechanical and electrical/instrument equipment is clear.
 Reffer to attachted document to Ensure how to operation and corrective action if
there is any trouble shoot.

7. DURING INITIAL START UP


For durring initial start up, this is no different with
 When start up is switched “ON” we will find Ubnormaly condition as ( unalignment
belt position). That is the commonly matter, durring the belt is return to position.
Please find the attached document to corrective and minimalize belt unalignment
procedure e.g (belt alignment between pulleys, rollers).
The operation is switched “OFF” if there is a matter with extreme condition and
must to corrected in OFF condition.
 Another part of belt conveyor also must to be attentively (drive unit, Bearing, back
stop).
Checking procedure for each equipment belt conveyor is separetly as Temperature,
Vibration, noise. Please see for checking procedure as attached document.
The operation will switched “ON and OFF” to completing adjustement and
alignment belt conveyor system. Usualy belt conveyor is accepted if not find up a
matter in 4 hours test run.
 The operation could swithced “OFF”.
