Semester – Solution

1. Bricks :
Length = 20+20+10+10+ = 76.085 m.
Awall = 76.085 X 2.5 = 190.2125 m2.
Adoor = 2(3X2.5) = 15 m2. (–)
Atotal = 175.2125 m2.
Vtotal = 175.2125 x 0.24 = 42.051 m3.
No. of bricks = 450 X 42.051 = 18923 bricks.
Morter :(1:3)
Vmorter = 0.23 X 42.051 = 9.67173 m3.
V = 0.75(C+S)
9.67173 = 0.75 (1+3)C
C = 3.22391 m3.
Cement = 91 bags.
Sand = 9.672 m3.
