Relationships between members

Family relationships refer to how people relate within the family setting. Excellent

interpersonal between members of the family is a crucial aspect. There are various causes and

effects of family relationships. My document contains a qualitative analysis of the causes and

consequences of family relationships.

Effects of family relationship

Good family relationships impact everybody in the family. The parents can raise their

children well. On the other hand, children feel secured and loved

The first effect is that family ties enable the children to feel secure, appreciated, and

loved. Besides, children can overcome difficulties in learning, behavior, sleeping and eating.

The other effect of close family relationships is that it enables the family to solve their

issues quickly. A family with good ties always comes together and discusses the problems which

face them. They can negotiate and solve problems and resolve conflicts quickly. Besides, the

children, as well as the parents, can respect everyone's opinions and differences. They are also

able to develop their independence.

The third effect is that a good family relationship gives the children experience and skills

to apply when developing their own families (Ohannessian et al., 2019). It has been proven that

children who come up from violent families tend to be passionate when developing their own

families. This is because of exposure to violence from their early stages in life. On the other

hand, children who come from families with good ties are more likely to build a good and non-

violent relationship. They also solve issues with their partners with ease.

When children are involved in decision making as well as the conflict solving process, they feel

secure as well as loved. They also feel appreciated and a crucial part of the family.

Causes of family ties

A family with good interpersonal relationships is usually supportive and bonded with.

There are several causes of good family relationships which include:

Positive communication with all members of the family is a significant cause. It is

essential to have time and listen to each other. Family members should also be open and express

their thoughts and feelings. Excellent communication helps everybody feel respected,

understood, and valued.

The second cause of good family ties has quality time with family members. Family

members should talk, laugh, and chat with each other. They should also have vacations and other

recreation activities (Umberson et al., 2017). Besides, significant decisions about the family

should be made together.

Another cause of family ties is teamwork within the family. A family who works as a

team makes everyone feel supported and contributive. For good family ties, the members should

share household duties, create family rules, and work together to solve problems.

Families should always spend and communicate together. Parents should, by time and

listen to their children's opinions and issues facing them.

Conclusion

In summary, having a family with close and robust bonds is something that everybody

should be aiming at. Every person has a role to play in ensuring their family has good relations.
