We CARE will is a mobile application that will act as the client’s internal
project manager that will provide quotation, estimates to project owners and
assist them in quality assurance, quality control of both materials and labor. The
project owner will be asked to input their desired theme, budget, number of
rooms, toilet and fixture and lighting, the application will then propose a
registered architect that would contact them and ask schedule for appointment.
After deliberations with the designs the architect will assign designs to structural
engineer, interior designer, mechanical, electrical engineer for the MEPF’s

 designs. After the designs are approved by the owner the application will act as a
monitoring tool for the client to check if the contractor is on or behind schedule.
In construction projects we find out that there are plenty of first-time home
owners that are being tricked and deceived by construction contractors, in order
to solve this we came up with the WeCare app. This will be beneficial for both the
contractor and the project owner, best to protect both of their interest. When the
project owner is not satisfied and was disappointed at the work done by the
contractor they could give him a bad review. Bad review will result to a loss of
point that will decrease chances of getting accounts. The application has a
feature that you need to maintain at least a certain number of stars for you to be
referred by the application.

would be delivered on time.

 The design would agree to certain psi level of the concrete, this will
assure the quality of the cement that would be poured to structure.

 They will provide materials for cement, gravel and sand with
varying grades depending on the designs. They will also be in
charge of the paint both inside and outside of the house, they will
make sure the proper ratio of paint. Toilet and bath supplies will be
available and also regulated approved wires.

 The furniture shop will provide the application with its current line-
up of furniture, the project owner can choose from its wide array of
customized furniture.

The application will be available in both android and IOS devices which
can be downloaded in Play Store and Apple Store respectively. The application

Descriptive Definition of the Product

 Need
The internal project manager is a very vital role and specialized hence it
doesn’t come cheap, when we pursue its digitalization many project owners
would benefit from it since the system is incorruptible, it will follow the
requirement and will has no emotion over the project.
The application will be responsible for keeping a close eye on the
construction budget. That involves closely monitoring if or when a particular trade
is out of sync with the budget, and making adjustments before the close of the
project. This application will be on the side of the project owner who looks out for
his financial interests and communicates with him to report and discuss any
overages. In construction, things often take longer and cost more than originally
planned, so having a digitalized project manager with good communication
programs is a real plus.

a. Subscription Revenue– by helping our key partner to target our client
base, that they would acquire certain niche information that will able

architect, engineers and construction contractors. The pool or the database of
professionals were carefully selected before they can be employee partners.
Another value is that the partnership with hardware stores, it will all be aligned to
the delivery schedules.

3. How to price the Project Commission

The usual industry practice for the cost of project manager in the
Philippines is usually around 3-5%, for example if the total construction cost is 40
million pesos the commission of the project manager will be between 1.2-2
million pesos and sometimes it could be more when corrupted by your contractor
if they bride your internal project manager to cover some mishaps. Usually the
duration for a 40 million project will be 12 months but can be finished earliest by
8 months, divide the commission and the profit of the project manager per month
would be between 100-166 thousand pesos.

But the WeCare application will only cost you 1.5% of the total project
cost, to use our 40 million example the application will only profit 600 thousand
pesos that will be finished in 8 months. In case the project contractor chooses to
not disclose some mishaps the application will advise the project owner to
contact the lawyer for fines and legal implications.

experience being independent. Income brackets between one hundred

usually condos because of the lifestyle, they love urban living and these

shopping and dine out with their friends and family.
o 35 – 45 years old, these are the age bracket that would probably plan
having a family. Their usual design would include a baby room and a

the design usually for these types have wider hallway and ramps. The
masters bedroom will be located at the ground floor and the toilet and bath

from our Construction suppliers, Professionals (Engineers, Architects,
Project Managers) and laborers.
Application: These is the mobile application interface that the
clients will use to improve their construction management. WeCare will
integrate supplies, builders and construction managers.
Users: These are the one that would use the application on their
micro or big construction projects. They would then send feedback to the
company so that providers can improve their products and services.

 In line with the initiative of the Government “Build, Build, Build program” the
construction is the chosen industry to uplift and lessen the poverty in the Philippines. It
is an important industry because it employs a lot of people below poverty line like
construction workers and laborers.

The government is looking build more infrastructure to solve some of its traffic
problem nationwide, there are more or less 100 infrastructure project have been
prepared by the public sector since February 17, 2020. This would be managed by
Department of Public Works and Highways in partnership with Department of
Transportation.

1. Competition

WeCare should not fall into the mistake of being complacent,

just because we are the first mover it does not mean that we are
going to be victorious all the time. If we fail to deliver relevant
service to our clients, they will find and look for better application to
put their projects.
In the Philippines there is no such mobile application that
would accompany any project owner, the construction industry in
the Philippines is left in the dust when in comes to adopting

buyers are deceived by fly by night contractors.

2. Threat of New Entrant

We at WeCare would not mind to share the market to

competitors but our main advantage is incorporating technology
and construction. Capital will be a barrier to those who want to
pursue this kind of industry, connection and relationships with
Construction Supplies, Professionals and laborers.
If you suddenly decide to exit this kind of business it would
not be that easy because of the capital infusion that you will pour to
it and construction industry is intensive on contracts, hence almost
every time there is a lawyer involved.

3. Threat of Substitute

There are many substitutes but the promise of contractors

not deceiving customers are not present. You can hire your local
contractors but since they are have their own motivation and
reasons most commonly profit, you wouldn’t be sure if your project
will come into fruition. Also substitute can be your foreman, in the
Philippines foreman are the ones that don’t do schooling but
gathered enough experience to do small projects but beware
because they are notorious and can not do proper construction
estimates. Again there are pros and cons to hiring substitutes.

Supplier that have bargaining power are the construction supplies

companies, professionals because of their man power supply.

partners and 12 interior supplies. So that we will not be
dependent on just one quotation of construction supplies

Bargaining powers of suppliers are low, because the mobile

the lead time to help them comply with the project schedule.
