Lesson Plan in Statistics and Probability November 13, 2019

This document is a lesson plan for teaching statistics and probability to 11th grade students. It outlines computing the variance of a discrete random variable. The lesson plan reviews computing the mean, has students calculate the mean of exam scores as an activity, analyzes the activity, generalizes the concept, applies it by listing steps, and evaluates students by having them find the mean of another distribution. As homework, students are asked to study computing variance.
