1 Prior to start:
a.
Approved commissioning copy schematic drawing shall be rechecked.
b. All secondary injection and all components tests shall be completed and
witnessed. All test results must be available and signed.

c. All final settings applied as appropriate (timers, annunciators, etc.) shall be
applied and witnessed.

Verify that each supply is wired point to point, with no unsupervised branches,
2 Supervision is checked by wire removal at every point in the circuits to make
sure the supervision flag drops.

Check DC source & loops, and check DC segregation for opening/tripping

circuits, closing circuits & alarm circuits according to the schematic drawing.

4 Check AC source & loops.

Check the thermostat and the space heaters according to the schematic

drawing.
Check the AC lamp, DC lamps and door switch and Check lamp test for all

equipment according to the schematic drawing.
7 Check AC sockets according to the schematic drawing.
8 Check the AC & DC supervision according to the schematic drawing.
9 Check panels earthing as per specifications.
Check that CT and VT circuits are provided with suitable covers and caution
10
labels for protection.

Protective shrouds on high voltage areas in the panel such as CT terminal


blocks with caution labels, protective shrouds on exposed resistors for high
11
impedance protection relays, also on metrosil's for REF protection relays
…..etc.

12 Check cables for proper shielding and grounding.


Check color coding of panel wiring, wire rating, cross section, ferruling as per
13
relevant specifications.
Check that at least 10% spare cable cores are provided and terminated at the
terminal blocks, 10% spare terminals shall be provided on each terminal block
14
and check that 10% spare alarm windows are available for future
modifications.
15 Check proper terminal block arrangement and labelling:
a. Shorting & isolation for CT circuits & Isolating for VT circuits.

b. Solid type TB for control circuits & knife type for alarms

c. Solid type TB with spring loaded for trip circuits

RESULT: ACCEPTED ACCEPTED AS NOTED REJECTED
