Wear-Resistant Steel With Average Hardness of 500 HB

The document describes XAR 500 wear-resistant steel plates that have an average hardness of 500 HB. The steel has a fine grain structure and can be welded. It has a chemical composition with less than 0.28% carbon and is suitable for applications involving high wear like demolition and landscaping machinery. The steel plates have a typical hardness of 450-530 HB, ultimate tensile strength of 1600 MPa, yield strength of 1500 MPa, and 9% elongation. Plates are available in thicknesses between 4-50 mm and widths from 1500-2000 mm.
