IPM3 Application and Parameters Load

1. Connect an Ethernet cable from a laptop to the machine's MCT1604 port or M3000 board to access its IP address. 2. Check the machine's BIOS for its IP address by pressing the MAREL key at startup. 3. Use the machine's IP address to access its files and restore applications and parameters using the M3000PowerToy.exe file. 4. Reboot the machine and check that the restored application and parameters are functioning properly.

Installing IPM on IPM3 x300

1. Connect to the machine with laptop with Ethernet cable – You can connect to MCT1604 (main electrical box –
connection to PC) or directly on M3000 board behind screen.
2. Check IP address of the machine –

Start the machine and fast click MAREL key on top right of the keyboard

You will start BIOS

On the bottom table You will see IP address of the machine.


Go to Not save and exit. Machine will restart.
You can RESTART machine also by main switch

When the machine starts up go to ACTION -> ACCESS -> Password 5638000

You can click on the top right on the keyboard : MAREL and after that HOME key
You will then see that – go to Ethernet and check the IP address: HOST IP if it’s there.
Try to PING it to see if there’s connection. If connection there:

Open file M3000PowerToy.exe– asking “do You work on pluto controller” – click NO

Put in IP of the machine,


Click browse and find the path to the backup files:
STEP 1 - To restore application:

Choose path to app catalogue -> click OK

Click install application.


Program will ask You if You want to format Disc on M3000 – click YES.
You will se some files being transferred, after a while program will ask “Do You want to restart” – click YES

M3000 will restart and reboot with new application.

Again start POWERTOY M3000


Ping to check connection

STEP 2-

To restore parameters choose path to param catalog

Click OK and then click “Restore parameters”


Program will ask You if You want to format Disc on M3000 – click YES.

You will see transferring files in the main bottom screen of M3000 Powertoy program.

After finishing transfer program will ask “Do You want to restart” – click YES

M3000 will restart and reboot.

To see if the parameters are there You can go to MAREL -> HOME -> 3D vision system
If there is only SETUP button active – parameters did not load
If there are more buttons – OK.
You can check if the machine is working.

Start the machine – Upper indicators should be in green and left= RUNNING, right=VISION READY

Form the main screen choose “Cut pattern positions”:


Click REPORT ON

Top indicators here STOPPED – must be RUNNING in green , CAMERA DISABLED must be VISION READY in green.

When You start the machine, laser should be on, put Your hand under laser for 2-4 seconds, take it back out and You
should see some yellow shape on CUT pattern
You can also check encoder calibration – laser to knife distance. See other file .
