Sex education aims to help students make better choices, not increase sexual activity. It provides a strong foundation for understanding sexuality and practicing safe sex.

    Sex Education in Schools

               Understanding sex is one of the main problems among teenagers. Most of them grow to

    be parents with no idea of sex and sexual behaviors. Most even get involved in sex without any

    information about sex. Parents have been having the wrong myth of educating children about

    sex, but it is of advantage. It is, therefore, important to introduce sex education to teenagers and

    all students in school.

               Having a better understanding of safe sex helps teenagers to have a responsible sex life.

    They are in a position to take good control of their sex behaviors (Elizabeth, 2020). The earlier

    they know the importance of safe sex is, the better they would move to practice safe sex

    (UNESCO, 2012). This is contradictory to having no idea about sex and may tend to try

    everything which may be risky.

               There has been a failure of abstinence-only option. This has been the best option for many

    parents. They understand that their children can have a better life if they abstain from sex. The

    notion has failed to work, and hence a better alternative has to be sought (Elizabeth, 2020).

    Students should, therefore, be taught of safer sex behaviors. Hence allowing them to have safe

    sex and avoid sex problems.

               It should also be noted that sex education will not increase sex among teenagers. It is a

    better way to help with better sex life. Research shows that 1 of 2 teens are sexually active

    (YRBS, 2016; UNESCO, 2012). Hence, failing to have better guides on sex may lead to sexual

    problems. Educating them will help have a better understanding of safe sex behaviors and

    practice them rather than leaving them in the dark. It allows parents to guide their teens on better

    morals and sexual options (Elizabeth, 2020).

               Therefore, it should be noted that sex education doesn’t have a negative influence on the

    youths and, therefore, can help understand better options of sex (Elizabeth, 2020). It builds a

    strong sexual background on students. It is important to ensure better sex life linked to safe sex

    experience.
