Lab Experiment 8: Implementing of Root Locus Using Matlab

The document describes a lab experiment on implementing root locus analysis using MATLAB. The objectives are to use the rolocus command to plot the root loci of two systems as the parameter k is varied from 0 to 10 and find the pole values at those k values. Plots of the root loci and pole values for selected k values of 1, 3, 6, and 10 are presented.

Lab Experiment 8: Implementing of Root Locus using Matlab

Objective: In this lab, concepts of Root Locus will be addressed using MATLAB.
Implement the following system using Root Locus

 Find the root locus for the following systems using matlab Hint:{use rolocus command}

k ( s−2)
G ( S )∗H ( S )=
( s +2 ) ( s+ 2 j ) (s−2 j)

k (s +2)
G ( S )∗H ( S )=
s 2−2 s +3

 Also find values of poles at k=0,1,2,3,………..10
