Syllabus: For Probability and Statistics

This document outlines the syllabus for a Probability and Statistics course. The course is divided into 5 units that cover topics such as descriptive statistics, probability, random variables, correlation and regression, hypothesis testing, and inferential test procedures. The learning outcomes are to compute probability distributions, use statistical tools like measures of central tendency and correlation, use statistical methods to study samples, and perform large and small sample tests. The course recommends two textbooks and four reference books.
