Even though most of the population think that technology has a bad influence on our
education it still has a lot of benefits like access to information anytime, provides us alternative
books and it makes distance learning more accessible than ever. One of the main benefits of
online learning is a flexible schedule, providing a service that is easily available and quick
because some on-line courses are available 24 hours. Online courses offer an excellent way for

with my students, I must observe first is they are employing technology daily in the classroom or
are they using variety of tools to complete assignments and create projects that show a deep
understanding of content. There are things I must consider since we are in an island province and
technology is at far, some of the students from rural areas are not well aware of the new trends in
technology or the worse scenario is that they don’t have gadgets or capacity to buy gadgets to
use for online learning. But the real, hard, painstaking, involved work of educating with
technology requires engaging students in their passion and imaginations, and helping them to
learn to thrive in the interconnected, global, digital world they have inherited.
