We’ve all been staying in our homes for a long time now. People who used
to go to work are working in their homes. Even people on TV are doing TV
shows in their homes. That means that when we watch someone on the
news, or take part in a work meeting on Zoom, we get to see what
people’s homes look like. Some people are carefully arranging the items
that will be seen behind them during Zoom meetings, but it doesn’t always
work. Things can go wrong. Children can wander into the picture. Cats
can run across the table behind you.
So I thought that we’d help people out by creating Zoom backgrounds that
people can use when they’re in a meeting. In the video 25 Best Zoom
Backgrounds they show things like beautiful nature scenes, outer space,
superheroes, and scenes from TV show like the Simpsons or Star Wars.
Those are all good ideas. What do you think would be a good background
for someone in a meeting? Maybe it could be what a really great office
would look like. Would a really great office have chandeliers and a
fireplace?
Maybe a good background would be something that is far away from being
an office. How about an amusement park, or a rodeo? Or maybe
something soothing would be good, like a forest scene, or a waterfall, or a
field of flowers. Or maybe it doesn’t have to look like anything. Just a
pretty pattern could also be nice.
There are no wrong answers. Draw whatever you think would be a good
background. It could look like someone’s home or office, or it could look
like anything else you’d like. But when you’re done send the art back to
me and I can offer it to people to really use as their Zoom backgrounds!
