Survey

A survey is a 3D measurement taken at a given depth and point in a borehole that provides information on the borehole's direction including depth, inclination, and azimuth. Surveys allow drillers to plot the current location of the borehole on a wall plot or computer based on the starting point and directional measurements taken throughout drilling.
