Computer Applications: Stedent Murtada Jawad Khadim Stage Fourth Year

This document contains instructions for modeling and analyzing a steel frame structure using Staad Pro software. It includes details on geometrical modeling, member properties, loads, load combinations, design parameters, and commands to run analysis, design checks, and produce output. The goal is to design beams, columns, and slabs for the structure, and estimate reinforcement and concrete quantities.

Example: According to Staad_Pro V8i software, Plot the geometrical modeling
of the steel frame structure shown below, where (z-1bay 3m).where steel plate
thickness 3.0 cm steel, steel member section (vertical double
W16*40)(horizontal standard MC12*40-in x and z direction),(inclined double
angle L3*2.5*1/4).

Note: means member in z-direction where

1- D.L. self weight

2- L.L : 2.0 N/m2 plate loads and external loads are shown in the figure.
3- = 1.4 D.L + 1.7 L.L
