A PROPOSAL TO CONDUCT OFW HELP DESK OFFICERS (OHD) CONFERENCE

I. RATIONALE

It has always been the mandate of the agency to effectively implement and deliver its
programs and services to the client it serves with high hopes that it will serve and satisfy its
beneficiaries to the highest level of satisfaction and merits. Along this thrust we also expect the
same enthusiasm from the OFW Help Desk Officers to take the same responsibilities as we do.

As an employee and with all the hard works and efforts, some of the OFW Help Desk
Officers find hard to balance their personal life and work and at the same time having
investments. It is when they spend the majority of their days on work-related activities and feel
as if they are neglecting the other important components of their lives, stress and unhappiness
result. In fact, it damages their output and productivity. For this reason, they are acquired to
attend a conference on Life-Work Balance & Investment Opportunities while working. The
pursuit of the topic of Life-Work Balance will help reduce the stress employee’s experiences and
the Investment Opportunities will give them ideas what are the possible opportunities in order
for them to have other sources of income or start a business while working full-time.

Towards this objective, the OHD’s are expected to acquire knowledge on how to balance
their work and personal life and being an entrepreneur in order for them to attain the quality of
work life. Thus, they’ll become a successful and effective employees.

II. OBJECTIVES

At the end of the conference, participants are expected:
