Please read the following instructions carefully before submitting this Hands-on Exercise:
• Use MS Word to prepare exercise solution.
• You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
• Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:
▪ It is submitted after due date.
▪ It is not in the required format (.doc or .docx)
▪ It does not open, or file is corrupt.
▪ It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:

• Demonstrate understanding of table feature MS Word.


• Format the data in MS Word.
Problem Statement

1. Create a new blank document and Insert a table into your document with 1 Row and 1 Column.
2. Type Employment History as the header, making sure it is left-aligned.
3. Create 2 new blank lines underneath the header by pressing the Enter key twice.
4. Insert a table into your document with 1 Row and 3 Columns and select AutoFit to Window from
the pop-up menu.
5. Insert data in the table as given below:

6. Make the text bold in “cell 1, cell 2, cell 3” and align text to center in table.
7. Now fill in some details about the job.
8. Apply Bullets from the paragraph section.
9. Save and submit the file.
