A FLAH DIFFUSER MAED FROM PLASTIC LAMPSHADE

Step 1: Stuff you need


some wood,I used 180mm plywood.
a plastic lampshade.
and the flash you want to defuse.
4 small screws
PWOER TOOLS !!
drill, saw and sander.

Step 2: Mark it
mark the outline of the lamp on the plywood,
center the flash inside and mark it too.

Step 3: Drill it
drill the inside of the flash outline, you need a big drill bit
to fit the saw in.

Step 4: Clamp and saw


clamp the plywood and saw the hole for the flash.
then saw the outline of the lamp.

Step 5: Send it
now you need to send it until it fits in the lamp and the flash fits inside.

Step 6: Drill it again


now it's time to secure the plywood to the lampshade.

drill 4 holes, 2 in each side and screw in the screws.

Shadows are softer, but the light falloff seems to be much more of an issue here. Maybe need a longer exposure for the ambient light?
