A Tarot Spread for Abundance

When we are focused on what we are missing in our lives - whether it is money, love, time,
or even just a sense of happiness and security - we actually draw in more of what we don’t
want. Our attention is the fuel that makes everything grow.

Use your attention in a way that is intentional. When something is missing, focus your
energy on being grateful for what you DO have and share that appreciation with others.
This is the fastest and easiest way to draw in what you feel you lack. This tarot spread will
help you get outside of yourself and into the world by pointing out how much you have to
share so you can always have more than enough of everything you desire.

For this tarot spread, shuffle the cards any way you like and lay out three cards in the order
shown on the opposite page.

CARD ONE: What is missing from my life?

This card represents the elements, ideas, inspirations, beliefs, people, or experiences you
want in your life but don’t currently have. Think broadly as well as deeply. Use your journal
to investigate the possibilities, then choose ONE missing element to focus on for the rest
of the spread. (Trust your gut and don’t be afraid of where this will lead).

CARD TWO: What do I have to be grateful for?

This card represents a SPECIFIC element that you are grateful for in your life, related to
that missing element in Card One. For example, if you are single and the missing element
from Card One is a healthy long-term romantic partnership, this card could represent the
healthy non-romantic relationships you have in your life. Or the healthy short-term physical
partnerships. Or even your healthy relationship to yourself.

CARD THREE: How can I share that abundance with others?

This card will help you brainstorm some ideas of how you take the SPECIFIC energy
from Card Two and share your gratitude with others. In our example, this card could spark
ideas about how to show your appreciation to your friends and family. Or your friends-
with-benefits. Or yourself.
