Why have you chosen to study in the UK?

I started to search for schools, and my preference remained tilted towards a UK institution.
While studying the case studies regarding the 2008 financial crises, I was impressed by how
UK Economists and Finance professionals handled that situation and successfully reduced
the fallout over the UK economy as compared to other major economies in the world. UK is
not only one of the biggest economies in the world but is also have a world's biggest financial
hub London.

Why have you chosen to study at Bangor University?

I attained my professional qualification (ACCA) but despite this, I felt that having a Master’s
degree from a reputable business school (like Bangor University) will further enhance my
knowledge and broaden my horizon. My preference remains skewed towards schools which
offer hands on experience through an internship program.

Why have you chosen to study this course?

While studying financial management in ACCA, I realized the great importance of the financial
sector in the economy. I learned that Finance Professionals are responsible for managing the
assets and analyzing risks to ensure the success of an organization and a country. During my
educational tenure I went through a few case studies regarding the 2008 financial crises. I
learned how the crisis evolved and how leading Finance Professionals sitting in the financial
institutions handled the situation in a meticulous way.
How does this course relate to your future career plans?

While i was searching, I came across Bangor University, and I was impressed to learn that it does
not only provide one of the best in class education but also offers the opportunity of practical
experience in UK. I am confident that an education from your prestigious institute will equip me
with the latest tools and techniques being utilized in the financial industry and will also provide me
a chance to have international hands on experience at one of the largest financial hubs of the
world. This for sure will enhance my present professional acumen and will help me to achieve my
goal in life to become a leading Financial Analyst and an outstanding Finance Professional.

If there are any time gaps between your work and study, please detail any other activities/projects you have
been involved with?

There is no such gap between my study periods and my professional jobs.

How does this course relate to your previous study?

I am a Professional Member of ACCA, UK and it is a Chartered Certification which mainly


focus on Financial Management, Financial Corporate Reporting and Corporate Finance as
well. The selected course is also offering the curriculum in the same sectors with
specialization through the Practical experience.

How will you fund your studies at Bangor University?

My father owns commercial and agricultural lands and also have well resources to fulfill my
needs so he will be my sponsor for all studies and related expenses during all this period.
