3. GRAMMAR: There is, there are are used to express existence.
There is means: hay – there are: hay.
For singular nouns use ¨there is¨ and for plural nouns use ¨ there are¨
For example. There is a tree : Hay un árbol. There are five trees: Hay cinco arboles.

Banks of the Nile River.
