SUMMARY:
This article was written by Agung Wibowo, Naniek Utami Handayani and
Anita Mustikasari .In which the experts were asked to develop the finding for
the framework to implement the GSCM to the construction industry. And the
experts used the Delphi method but it was compromising many dimensional
elements. All they wanted is that they can use waste materials too because in
construction industry waste has been recognized as a primary problem so
some studies suggested that the architect has a decisive role to play in helping
to reduce waste by focusing on designing it out. And the increase of energy
usage have direct impacted on environment which bring many climate
changing situation so There are many activities that can be adopted, such as
improving the energy efficiency and utilizing non-premium fuels in kiln
processes, implementing recycled materials in production processes and use
of low energy additives or extenders for energy saving in building materials.

Through energy policy, especially in terms of economic incentives, it is

possible to significantly reduce the environmental impact of construction
processes and enhance their energy efficiency. Such policy consists of the
following measures: (1) managing carbon tax to decrease the fuel utilization
per unit of output on the whole and decrease carbon emissions per unit of
energy usage; (2) implementing a mineral extraction tax that will drives the
usage of recycled materials; (3) applying landfill waste charges, which could
drive industry toward recycling mineral wastes, and reuse of exposure and
construction wastes; and (4) levying charges for pollution, with the fines
always related to the pollution level caused. In the construction industry, the
release of sulphur and nitrogen oxides and carbon dioxide from cement
outcome could be managed via these measures. And many supply chain
techniques will be implemented to bring the more efficiency in it like logistics,
design, marketing, distribution, operations.

SUMMARY:
Many business activities are a significant threat for the environment because
of carbon monoxide emissions, discarded packaging materials, scrapped toxic
materials, traffic congestion and other forms of industrial pollutions. The
increased attention of GSCM is to integrate the environmental thinking on
SCM. Green supply chain management can be sustainable in performance
enhancement. They focus on the environmental collaboration, which has been
seen as a key relational capability to facilitate the GSCM strategic formulation
and execution. The purpose of the experts was (1) review the extant literature
on the relationship between GSCM, environmental collaboration and
sustainability performance and (ii) propose a plausible conceptual model to
elucidate the relationship between these three variables in the context of
Malaysian manufacturing companies. GSCM practices have the direct
connection with the economic performance and the social performance and
these both practices have relation with the environment.

Green manufacturing is a productions process which converts inputs into

output by reducing hazardous substances, increasing energy efficiency in
lighting and heating, practicing minimizing waste, actively designing and
redesigning green processes. Green manufacturing requires manufacturers to
design products that facilitate the reuse, recycle and recovery of parts and
material components; avoid or reduce the use of hazardous products within
production process; minimize consumption of materials as well as energy.
Such thought depends upon more detailed empirical research by using
advanced structural equation modeling approaches. The research findings will
be particularly important for manufacturing companies in developing
environmental collaboration with their suppliers in order to achieve
sustainability performance.

SUMMARY:
IT can transform high-technology companies into green enterprises by
enhancing the economic and ecological impact of operations. Green IT can also
accelerate the products innovation with minimizing the cost and risk by
reducing the carbon footprint. In present economic scenario many
organization are trying to get benefit economically and increasing product
cycle but the Green Supply chain management reduces the waste energy , raw
material and saving the cost packaging, reverse logistics and environmental
collaboration in the supply chain. IT applications in supply chain management
practices towards making green supply chain management more effective and
environmental friendly in various industries.

The collaboration of supply chain value partner in establishing the research

and projects development that carry out the project lifecycle and technology
innovation are for the value creation in this all system. Organizations do not
only seek to gain green efficiency from an ecological perspective, but also to
take advantage of the green strategy to gain a competitive position. New green
products that can be remanufactured or recycled are expected. That’s why IT
GSCM will bring much change in enhancing efficiency in industries.
