1. Open the excel worksheet


2. Enter the heading “manufacturing of machines” in the 1st row
3. Enter the column heading ”year” in A2 cell and no. of machines in B2 cell
4. Enter the data for year and no. of machines respectively
5. Select the data from B3 to B7 cell
6. Click on inset on the menu bar and from the drop down menu click on chart option
7. Select the chart type column and elect required chart subject
8. Click on next button
9. Data range is already selected. Click on series option and enter in the category X-axis
10. Table 2000,2001,2002,,2003,2004. Click on next button
11. Click on title and enter chart title as “manufacturing of machines” category X-axis as
