INDICATIONS OF SARCODES 
 
● Used in 2 ways 
(1) In Crude form​ - Decimal scale - in supplement form in grave Pathologies with 
structural changes , severe hypofunction of gland or organ due to unnatural 
cause or radiation. 
 
(2)In potency -​ Or constitutionally  
When well selected remedy fails and the centre is an organ or hormone- Sarcode 
is indicated. 
 
● When no symptoms are available  
● As an intercurrent remedy - To vitalise an organ after constitutional remedy in 
grave Pathologies. 
● After lifestyle crisis when a particular organ function is hampered due to 
synthetic drugs . 
 
A case of 16 year old female with c/o primary amenorrhea with PCOD. 
● Hirsutism 
● Husky voice 
● Aggressive behaviour. 
● Male like pelvis 
● Greasy skin 
● Acne 
● Male like receding foreline 
 
Sepia was prescribed but didn't worked. 
Thuja was prescribed but didn't worked. 
Testosterone 200 single dose was given. 
After 10 days the girl menstruated normally. 

 
 

Testosterone excess is neutralised by Testosterone as a sarcode. 


And PCOD was also treated with improvement in Hirsutism.

● Testosterone plays an important role in females for their sex drive, bone mass 
and vaginal health. 
 
● Women with high testosterone levels, either due to disease or drug use, may 
experience a decrease in breast size. 
 
● Its effects on Breast: 
 
● Higher levels of androgens in the blood may be linked to an increased risk of 
Breast Cancer in women. 
 
Homeopathic Indications 
 
According to Dr Murphy in Nature Materia Medica and De Marsh's Clinical Drugs: 
 
1. Crying: depersonalization; dysphoria; euphoria. 
 
2.Mental depression; paranoia; quick to react or over emotionally, rapidly changing 
moods. 
 
3 Headache; anxiety; insomnia. 
 
4. Acne; alopecia; increase in pubic hair growth. 
 
5. Symptoms of fatigue, malaise, loss of sex drive, and loss of muscle tissue. 

 
 

 
6. Increased facial and body hair, oily skin, male pattern baldness, water retention, 
joint stiffness. 
 
7. A deepened or hoarse voice. 
 
8. Bleeding. Emaciation. Fatigue 
 
9. Hypertension. Erythrocytosis: secondary polycythaemia, leukopenia 
 
10. ​Bladder irritability, urinary tract infection.

Sepia​ (Related to Testosterone) 
Male cuttlefish sometimes use deception toward guarding males to mate with 
females. Small males hide their sexually dimorphic fourth arms, change their skin 
pattern to the mottled appearance of females, and change the shape of their arms to

Estrogen forms unique relationships with other hormones in the breast, which are 
responsible for: 
 
1.the growth of the breasts during adolescence. 
 
2. the pigmentation of the nipples 
 
3. stopping the flow of milk when an infant is no longer breast- feeding. 
 
4. It acts through Estrogen Receptors present in the cell 
 
5. It has wide and complex biological in role affecting multiple organs and system

Breast Cancer is a Hormonal Event as more than 70% of breast cancers are Hormone

Homeopathic Indications 
 
It requires a detailed proving, though the indications based on Dr Sarkar's clinical

2. Breast Cancer with severe migraine. 
 
3. Fullness and tenderness of breast. 
 
4. Endometriosis, endometrial cancer with ​history of oral contraceptive pills. 
 
5. Breast cancer with gall bladder involvement. 
 
6. Female offsprings of mothers who had Diethylstilbestrol (DES) during first 
trimester. 
 
Symptoms of Estradiol from Marsh' Clinical Drugs are: 
 
1. ​Endocrine Pancreatitis. 
 
2. Peripheral edema. 
 
3. Abdominal cramping or ​bloating​, anorexia (loss of appetite): nausea; diarrhea, 
vomiting. 
 
4. ​Gallbladder obstruction; hepatitis. 
 
5. Endometrial atrophy, increase in libido. 
 
 
 
● Estrogen is indicated in Gynecomastia in males.
