information to present to the class.
INTRODUCTION: The teacher tells the students that the objective of this class is to present and
analyze different cases of prisoners of conscience around the world and throughout history.
PRESENTATION: The teacher tells the students to organize in their groups and to prepare the final
details of their presentation.
EVALUATION: The students present the information they gathered about the prisoner of
conscience assigned to each group. As each group is presenting, the others should complete the
chart in their booklets - page 22, using the information presented by their classmates. (TO BE

WRAP-UP: The teacher asks the students to give conclusions about the topics treated in class.

INTRODUCTION: The teacher will tell the students that the objective of this class is to identify main
ideas in a text, and to learn vocabulary related to crime.
PRESENTATION: The students observe the images on page 66 excercise 1 and decide which is
worst in their opinion.
TASK: The students read the stories on pages 64 and 65 to answer activities 2 and 3. After that, the
students use their dictionaries in order to complete activities 4 and 5. Finally, the students work on
the activities on page 66.
WRAP-UP: The teacher asks the students what would be the best way to act if they see a crime
happening. Together they check the answers to the activities.
* The teacher will provide guidance and feedback the whole time.
PRESENTATION: Then, the teacher will tell the students to go online and open the links provided.
TASK: The students practice on different online activities and tests in order to help them study
crime vocabulary, there are also some activities involving Past Perfect Simple and Past Perfect
Continuous and gerunds and infinitives.
WRAP-UP: The students talk about the results they obtained in the different activities and the new
things they learned.

* TUTORING SESSION: This day the teacher will work on the Tutoring Session with the students by
solving online activities previously selected related to PET, the purpose of these activities is to
reinforce on the different techniques to answer PET questions and solve any doubts the students

WARM UP: The teacher will ask the students if they remember the stories we read and will ask
them to try to retell them.
INTRODUCTION: The teacher will tell the students that the objective of this class is to learn how to
use grammar to narrate past situations.
PRESENTATION: Using one of the stories from page 64 and 65 the teacher will make a time line in
order to present the topic. After that, the teacher will ask the students about what happens when
two verbs are together in a sentence. Some examples will be given.
TASK: The students work ok pages 68 and 69 of the book to practice the topics studied in class.
WRAP-UP: The teacher asks the students to give conclusions about the use of Past Perfect and
Past Perfect Continuous.
INTRODUCTION: The teacher will tell the students that the objective of this class is to write a letter
(email) to a friend, taking into account the directions for answering a PET WRITING PART 2
exercise.
PRESENTATION: Then, the teacher will assign the students an email situation for them to write.
The teacher will tell them that it's very important to fulfill every aspect asked on the exercise.
EVALUATION: The students will have to solve a PET WRITING PART 2 exercise on a piece of paper.

while doing the exercise.

WARM UP: The teacher will be reminded the guidelines and elements to conduct a symposium.
INTRODUCTION: The teacher will tell the students that the objective of this class is to assess the
academic approach of the topic assigned for the Symposium.
PRESENTATION: the students get into their groups and check the position papers they wrote the
previous week, making the corrections needed based on the comments made by the teacher (10
minutes) . Afterwards, they present their work to the class in order to get some suggestions from
their peers.
EVALUATION: The students will present orally their point of view to the class about the given
topic. (TO BE GRADED)
6. Thursday 8G (2nd hour)- Friday 8F (1st hour) To combine grammatical tenses and suitable
vocabulary to produce meaningful information.
WARM UP: The teacher will ask the students which are the most common crimes in their
opinion.
INTRODUCTION: The teacher will tell the students that the objective of this class is to learn new
vocabulary related to crimes and law.
PRESENTATION: Listening about Coco Chanel, organize the events using past perfect and past
perfect continuous tenses.
TASK: The teacher will ask the students to work through pages 66 to 67 from the book.
WRAP-UP: The teacher will ask the students which would be the short term and long term
consequences of breaking the law. Additionally, the answers to the activities will be checked.
* The teacher will provide guidance and feedback the whole time.
* TUTORING SESSION: This day the teacher will work on the Tutoring Session with the students by
solving a workshop (taken from NTE intermediate pgs 79 and 90).
PRESENTATION: The teacher will give back to the students their Diagnostic Evaluation (Second
Term). Then, the students paste it in their notebook.
TASK: The teacher will show the students the Diagnostic Evaluation (Second Term). Then, the
students guided by the teacher, will correct and check the Diagnostic Evaluation (Second Term).
During this task, the students will notice which were their strenghts and weaknesses while
presenting the test.
WRAP-UP: The teacher will ask the which did they learn while presenting the evaluation and in
which aspects they can improve.
