    1.0 INTENT OF SPECIFICATION

    The intent of this specification is to establish minimum requirements to manufacture and


    supply of Gaskets used for flanges in supply of natural gas.

    2.0 SCOPE OF WORK

    2.1 The scope includes manufacture, supply, inspection, testing, marking, packaging, handling
    and despatch of Filter Element, as indicated in the Material Requisition & Schedule of Rates,
    meeting all the requirements as laid down in manufacturing standards.

    2.2 All codes and standard for manufacture, testing, inspection etc. shall be of latest edition.

    2.3 Owner/ Owner’s Representative reserves the right to delete or order additional quantities
    during execution of order, based on unit rates and other terms & conditions in the original
    order

    2.4 The dimensions mentioned in the Drawings are indicative. The successful bidder has to
    ensure and confirm the dimensions and the material for the particular type of filter after
    visiting the site. The samples has to approved by the TPI/EIC before supplying the entire lot.

    3.0 DEFINITIONS

    OWNER Shall mean Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL)


    Manufacturer Means Manufacturer of the Gaskets
    PTS Particular Technical Specifications
    Third Party Inspection Agency Means the Inspection Agency to be appointed by IGL

    4.0 MATERIAL SPECIFICATION FOR FILTER ELEMENT

    As given in Annexure 1

    5.0 INSPECTION

    SUPPLIER shall submit ITP to CLIENT/CLIENT’s representative for approval and also provide
    required certification as mentioned in MR.

    Inspection shall be carried out as per Technical Specifications and approved Inspection Test
    Plan.

    SUPPLIER shall furnish all the material test certificates, proof of approval/license from
    specified authority as per specified standard, at the time of final inspection of each supply lot of
    material. Also, all above mentioned certificates to be furnished in soft copy to M/s IGL.

    Even after third party inspection, owner reserves the right to select a sample randomly from
    each manufacturing batch and have these independently tested .should the results of these
    tests fall outside the limits specified in IGL technical specifications, then IGL reserves the right
    to reject all production supplied from the batch.

    5.1.1. Packaging

    Package size to be mentioned to ensure uniformity in delivery conditions of the material being
    procured. Package size shall be approved by owner / owner’s representative before despatching
    the material. Bidder shall submit the packaging details during offer and also complied with at the
    time of delivery

    6.0. Documents to Be Submitted At the Time of Bidding

    The bidder shall submit following documents

    Manufacturing Standards

    Catalogues in English

    Approval of statutory bodies,

    Types of test Reports

    Deviation from technical standards, if any, with justification

    Supplies against major orders for Natural gas applications

    Sizing calculations

    6.1.0 Documents to Be Submitted Along With Dispatch Of Material

    The bidder shall submit following documents along with material

    All relevant Material test certificates

    Test reports

    Catalogue and technical literature in English

    Operational/Installation Manual

    Dimensional and sectional drawings with material of construction
