Online Voting System

Abstract: This project, online voting system is project which will increase the voting percentage in India or in country . this is
safe and threat free project Online voting system is a web based voting system which will help to control or manage our elections
easily its software platform used to securely conduct votes and elections so if you want vote for your party or contestant you
don’t need to go to the pooling booth , you can do it from your palace

I. INTRODUCTION
ONLINE VOTING SYSTEM” is a web based voting system which is going to help us to control or manage our any elections
easily and safely. Online Voting System used to cast the vote during elections with the help of this system voter do not have
to go the polling booth to cast the votes, a voter can use his computer or mobile to cast the vote. There is information or data
which is maintained in which all the data lile ,names of the voters with their whole information is kept. The System
Administrator registers the voters by filling a registration form to register the voters. After this, the voter is given a secret
voter ID by using this, he/she can use to login to the system and cast his/her vote. After they successfully registers
themselves, a link is sent on their respective E-mail IDs or phone number. The link is like a key which helps them to activate
the account of the user. The account is activated only when the user clicks on that link. The site will be opened only on the
day of voting. Once the users logs in, they will be provided with a One Time Password (OTP) which has to be written by the
user before casting his/her vote. Then they vote for their favorite party or individual.

A. The Proposed System
1) The online voting system is for the citizens from all over India that consists of the data and information
2) The database of the Voter’s information and details

5) Checking information by the voter
6) Remove wrong information The information immediately transfers to Election commission
B. The Existing System
The existing system is manual and the paper based voting which is voted on paper and counted manually. The electronic tabulation
brings new kind of voting system in which the electronic cards with all candidates symbol is marked manually and this can be
counted electronically. The electronic voting systems are now different types known as the punch card, mark sense and the digital
pen voting systems. The Electronic Ballot Marker makes the voter more easy to vote by providing the selections on the display to
vote present on the electronic machine.
