    Project Title : Tüpraş İzmir Refinery / 30.000 m³ Diesel Oil Tank with Geodesic Dome Roof
    Location : İzmir / Turkey
    Contractor : Santek A.Ş.
    Project Description : At this project 2 number 30.000 m³ Diesel Oil tanks were designed according to API
    650 standard and the detailed manufacturing projects were prepared by both related computer programs
    and “Scala in-house built excel sheets for API-650 Standard” computer program.
    Tank roofs were "Geodesic Roof". The roofs design and manufacturing works were done by HMT / American
    Company and dispatched to site and mounted by the contractor.
    Except the geodesic roof, all of the works of the contract were done by Scala Tasarım.
    The foundation of tank, grounding, lightening, electrification of mixers and instrument projects were desig-
    ned under the leadership of Scala Tasarım.
    At this project, there wasn't a connection between the diesel pipelines and existing pipelines at site.
    Just the tie in of the foam system and cooling water system on tanks to existing system at refinery were
    done within the scop of the contract.
