Project Prioritization Matrix

The document presents a matrix for prioritizing potential projects. It lists 7 potential projects along with criteria for selection including location/process, owner, estimated cost, importance, and others. Each project is scored on each criteria from 1 to 10. The scores are multiplied by the weight of the criteria to calculate a total weighted value. Based on the weighted values, the packaging reduction project has the highest priority followed by the EOL test optimization and labeling improvement project. A chart is included to visualize the relative weighted values of each project.

Selection Criteria
When choosing selection criteria (columns in the matrix), select standard criteria that are important to the b
determine criteria.

Scoring for Criteria

Suggest using a 1 to 10 scale, where 10 signifies the most important and 1 signifies the least. Label criteria

Selecting Potential Projects

When choosing potential projects (rows in the matrix), select all project ideas that have been considered wo
pre-screen project ideas.

Scoring for Projects

Use a 1 to 10 scale, where 10 signifies the strongest match to a criterion and 1 signifies the weakest.

Ease of Completion Scores

Use a 1 to 10 scale, where 1 equals "Hard to complete" and 10 equals "Easy to complete."

Using the Matrix to Select Projects

Use the Weighted Value by Project column to see which projects address the most important criteria. Use th
easiest to complete. Use the Value*EOC column to see which projects address the most important criteria a
