Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia Individual Assignment1 Semester Ii SESSION 2019/2020

This document is a confidential individual assignment for a Geotechnics 1 course. It consists of 3 questions assessing students' understanding of classifying soils, properties such as liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index, and calculations related to soil density, void ratio, porosity, degree of saturation, and water content. Question 1 asks students to list objectives of classifying soils and discuss liquid limit, plastic limit and plasticity index tests. Question 2 involves labeling a soil element diagram and calculating various soil properties based on given mass, moisture content, specific gravity and porosity values. It provides a table with results from a liquid limit test and a diagram of a soil element to reference.
