Content Focus: I Belong to a Community

Arrival Time: 7:50-8:00 ( 15 minutes)


Let the children to the following.

 Browsing of books
 Chitchatting with new friends
 Gathering news
 Exploring the materials of their choice

Meeting time 1: 8:00-8:30 (30 minutes)

Content Standard: The child demonstrates an understanding of the community where he/she
belongs

Performance Standard:

The child shall be able to : ( recognize the different places in the community where he/she
belongs and to solve problems encountered within the context of everyday living identity of the
plants.

Objectives: to explore the attributes of what are those places that we see in our community.
Materials: 8 pieces of puzzles
Number of player of participants: those will be a 4 groups and each group consist of 6
members

Procedure:

1. Divide the children into 4 groups.


2. Each group will be given two puzzles to kind with
3. They will be given 10 minutes to finish their work.
4. The group the first to post on the board will be the one wins.

Title: Community and me
Objectives: to enhance their creative thinking skills
Materials: blocks, one picture,pen, bond paper, wall scissors , tape of every picture
Procedures:

1. Divide the class into groups according to their skills and interest.
2. Each group will have different task to be with.
Team park: one picture per bond paper
Team hospital: one picture per bond paper
Team church: one picture per bond paper
Team brgy.hall: one picture per bond paper
3. They will have 15 minutes to answer
4. The first group that will be first one to finished the activity be our winners.

SUPERVISED RECESS: 9:10-9:20 (10 MINUTES)

Gather pupils in front and start singing “Irog Sani” ask the pupils one by one to go the
washing area. Guide the pupils to wash and wipe their hands with dry handkerchied before they
touch their foods.
